Mr. Zemla has over fifteen years of engineering work experience. He specializes in the analysis support of engineering design problems. He has developed a variety of algorithms to simulate the performance of building HVAC systems. He also has utilized a variety of analysis software packages and is knowledgeable of air dispersion modeling for large boiler plants. He is particularly proficient at developing custom spreadsheet models to evaluate engineering problems. To this end he has developed models to evaluate ice storage systems, gas cooling, and a wide variety of energy saving technologies. Mr. Zemla also is a skilled design engineer and participated in the design of a wide variety of HVAC systems and central plant projects.

Mr. Kovarik has over thirty-five (35) years of engineering experience with principal technical expertise in the areas of electrical, utility, environmental, and energy conservation engineering. He has been involved in the design, operation, and maintenance of central power stations and substations; electrical generation, transmission, and distribution; power conversion equipment, and main drive motors, generators, and control; analog and digital control and SCADA systems; energy and utility distribution systems (air, water, gas, sewer, etc.); pollution control facilities including wastewater treatment, solid waste disposal, electrostatic precipitators, and high energy scrubbers; and heavy manufacturing and construction activities and equipment.

Mr. DiGiacomantonio has long-term mechanical system design experience in instrumentation, controls, and large scale piping systems. His experience also includes long term involvement with the construction of complex piping systems. Nick’s work history spans more than thirty years, in steam, high temperature hot water, chilled water, and process piping system design and installation for buildings and industrial processes. Mr. DiGiacomantonio has been involved in various capacities in numerous piping and process engineering projects for clients such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology, National Institutes of Health, Yale University, The Johns Hopkins Hospital and the University of Maryland.

He also is highly proficient in the design and installation of electronic data acquisition and process control systems, digital electronics systems, and energy management and control systems.
